The British Railway Series has been a superb and truly historical series. With the exception of a few goofs that have already been pointed out, the series has really told the history of steam on the Eastern Region at Copley Hill during the 1950's.
With all the great characters like young and cocky Allen, wise old Stephen, haughty Sir Ralph with his dark past, and the shy and grumpy engines, Herbert and Nigel, the British Railway Series will always be a great show, even after it has ended.
I think that the new episodes are going to be even better, and I know that we will all be disappointed when it ends. And when it ends, if we know our history, only a few characters will survive, and lots of characters are going to be cut up.
Let's keep on hoping though, that Simon Martin's brilliant mind (and his money, of course), will keep the series going for a good few more years.
Long live the BRWS' popularity.
